Hosting in Canada!

  • All of our hosting equipment is proudly located in Canada!

Hardware in Shared Cloud Hosting cluster:

  • All of the hardware nodes in shared cloud hosting cluster act as one giant computer providing a high level of performance and fault tolerance to our clients.
  • Power: Each hardware node in the cluster has redundant Power Supplies connected to separate A or B UPS/Power systems supported by a generator.
  • CPU: Currently we have 22 Cores of Processing power in the cluster (44 threads).
  • Memory: 184GB of physical memory with error correction control is currently in the cluster.  In 3 or 4 channel configurations, memory on the hardware nodes are for optimize performance.
  • Network: Each hardware node in the cluster has at least:
    • 2 redundant 1GB/s connections to the Internet with access to multiple 10GigE peers.
    • 4Gb/s connection to the storage cluster.
    • 3Gb/s connection to the MySQL servers.
    • Redundant Switching and Routing
    • Redundant Peers in multiple data centers across Canada
    • IPv6 Available with Shared Cloud Hosting plans being hosted in the Calgary Data center only
  • Storage: Redundant (RAID10) SAS Spinning disks (66 High Speed Drives) for data with redundant fast caching SAS controllers and SSD caches
    • On Premise Backup Storage
    • Off Site Backup Storage
  • Enhanced MySQL services: Dedicated MariaDB(MySQL) servers optimized and performance tuned monthly to provide our hosting clients with amazing low latency query response
    • by moving the bulk of our MySQL queries away from the hosting nodes we have greatly increased the amount of memory and CPU available for preforming hosting tasks on the nodes, as well as allowing a more dedicated use of resources for common tasks.

Hardware in Shared Hosting cluster:

  • Power: Each hardware node in the cluster has redundant Power Supplies connected to separate A or B UPS/Power systems supported by a generator.
  • CPU: Currently we have 20 Cores of Processing power in the cluster.
  • Memory: 88GB of physical memory with error correction control is currently in the cluster.
  • Network: Each hardware node in the cluster has at least:
    • 2 redundant 1GB/s connections to the Internet with access to multiple 1gb/s peers.
    • 3Gb/s connection to the storage cluster.
    • Redundant Switching and Routing
    • Redundant Peers in multiple data centers across Canada
  • Storage: Redundant Spinning disks for data with fast caching SAS controllers and SSD caches

Enhanced DNS servers:

  • All hosting nodes push DNS zone file data to three head end DNS servers, dns1.nucleus.com (Calgary), dns2.nucleus.com (Calgary), and dns5.nucleus.com (Kitchener).
  • Each head end DNS server has extremely low CPU load and lots of available memory
  • Each head end DNS server has redundant internet connections
